Stay Focused on Jesus

Have you been feeling distracted in your walk with Christ? Are you losing relationships with friends and family and cannot understand why? Are you feeling attacked in your mind by the enemy? Are you feeling like you want to give up on God?

First, we would like to encourage you to get into the house of God. He is who will keep you through all you are going through. God is always there with us and we have to fight the fight of faith. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Getting caught up with what people do will take your focus off of God. People’s antics can blind you from your Godly assignment. The devil uses people to get you off your assignment. God will use people to motivate you towards finishing your assignment. You have to have discernment and know what kind of people you are dealing with.

Dealing with people while in our emotions will have us be a people pleaser and not a God pleaser. Your love or dislike for them can make you miss the revelation from God because you are distracted. God will not waiver no matter what your situation is but people are fickle.

Sometimes we feel we have to separate ourselves from the church because of hurt done to us by people. Be careful and be sure that you are not leaving a place that God called you to be. Don’t allow what you think about human people to make you miss what God has for you. In the Bible it says that the church is God's bride Ephesians 5:22-25 KJV. You cannot have God without having the church. If you do not have a church, you are separated from the kingdom. You have to remember that everyone in the church isn’t saved. That is why people go to church; to learn how to be righteous. We have to keep in mind when we do get saved that church is for our relationship with Jesus, not for our relationship with people.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-3, it says people will be come truce-breakers. People don’t hold to their word nor keep account of their promises. People will say one thing and do another thing. Don’t allow people an opportunity to break you with their continuous disappointments. Be wise in your relationships with people. People will fail you, God will never forsake you. When God gives you direction, he will have your back the entire way. When God makes a promise to you and you do His will, you can take his word to the bank. At times, negative things happen with people to reveal who they are.

Don’t become dissatisfied with your life. You have purpose and destiny. Where you are is not where you will be. If God is not your number one priority you will miss your assignment. God called you, and He will make full proof of that call. Our relationship with God has to be above all including our relationships with spouses and significant others. Don’t trade your divine relationship with Jesus for human relationships

Moses was prepared 80 years for a 40 year ministry; Jesus 30 years for a 3 year ministry. Abraham 75 years. Don’t become weary in well doing. When God has called you, you don’t have to worry about how you are going to get there. God will take care of you as long as you keep pressing toward the mark and don’t rely on anyone but him. God is our God, not people. If people were God, they would have judged us and sent us to Hell a long time ago.

God will provide everything you need. Don’t allow the enemy to manipulate your mind and make you doubt God. Sometimes you have to separate yourself from certain people because they are being used by the devil to make you give up on God. People will try to discourage you from your faith. God will meet you right where you are in your circumstances and pull you into your destiny.

Don’t waste your time trying to convince people about what you know about God. It’s not about their feelings and emotions. When God chooses you, your life belongs to him for the assignment. Our life is not our own anymore. Getting caught up with people is a trick of the enemy. In our human nature, it may hurt and we will go through things but Don’t give up on God, he will bring you through! All people are not from the enemy. God will bring people in your life to help you on your journey towards your destiny in Him. Be wise, use discernment, and keep your focus on the Lord. Amen! God Bless
